This viral disease has become one of the worst nightmares of the world. The current outbreak of novel Coronavirus was first detected in the Chinese city of Wuhan in December 2019. The virus has been named “covid-19”. Experts have confirmed that the virus can spread rapidly from one human body to another human and infects the lungs of human through the respiratory system. Symptoms of corona virus vary from person to person, depending on its severity and type of infection. Symptoms of corona virus in human include cough, fever, throat infections, kidney failure and respiratory problems. There is no specific treatment for the virus. There is no vaccine that can keep people free from Coronavirus. Patients are generally given supportive care for their symptoms. Hospitalized patients may need support with breathing. To prevent this infectious disease we should wash our hands frequently, wear face mask before going outside, avoid crowded areas and close contact with anyone showing symptoms of Coronavirus. The World Health Organization (WHO) has announced global emergency as the virus has already spread in many countries. There are some patients in Bangladesh who have already infected with `Coronavirus. So we should be more alert about corona virus. Therefore, drastic measures are needed to be taken to avoid this disease as we know that “Prevention is better than cure.”[/toggle]
