প্রমার স্বাস্থ্য রক্ষায় বৃহস্পতিবার রান্না করা খাবার অধিকতর সহায়ক । কারণ ঐ দিনের রান্না করা খাবারের প্রয়োজন শর্করা ও আমিষের পরিমাণ বিদ্যমান আছে । কিন্তু প্রমা পরেরদিন বাইরে বেড়াতে গিয়ে যে খাবারগুলো গ্রহণ করেছে তা ফাস্টফুড জাংক ফুড এর আওতাভুক্ত। কারণ হচ্ছে এমন এক ধরনের খাবার যা স্বাস্থ্যগত উপাদান এর পরিবর্তে মুখরোচক স্বাদের জন্য উৎপাদন করা হয়। এগুলো খেতে খুব সুস্বাদু মনে হতে পারে কিন্তু বেশিরভাগ সময়ই এই খাবার শরীরের জন্য ভালো নয় সুস্বাদু করার জন্য এতে প্রায় অতিরিক্ত রাসায়নিক পদার্থ থাকে যেগুলো অস্বাস্থ্যকর। ফাস্টফুডে সাধারণত প্রচুর পরিমাণে প্রাণীর চর্বি ও চিনি থাকে। বার্গার চিকেন পিজ্জা কেক কিংবা উচ্চমাত্রায় প্রাণীর চর্বি থাকে। সফট ড্রিংস কোকাকোলার মত গ্যাসীয় পানিতে অতিরিক্ত চিনি থাকে। ফাস্টফুডে আমাদের জন্য দরকারি ভিটামিন ও খনিজ পদার্থের অভাব রয়েছে। ফাস্টফুড খাওয়ার কারণে উঠতি বয়সী ছেলেমেয়েদের দেহ স্থূলকায় হয়ে পড়ে। এ ধরনের খাবারের চেয়ে প্রাকৃতিক সজীব খাবার স্বাস্থ্যের জন্য অনেক ভালো।
